To help fire departments plan for a smarter – and safer – future, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation is hosting the first ever Fire Service Innovation in Safety Symposium on September 24 – 26. It will be held in Philadelphia, an emerging hub of technology and innovation, and will be hosted by Philadelphia Fire Commissioner and OEM Director Adam Thiel.

The theme of the Virginia Fire Officer Academy is Safety through Leadership and is based upon the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation’s 16 Firefighter Life Safety Initiatives and the Everyone Goes Home® Program.
The work that was accomplished by everyone involved was spectacular; we are excited to have had the opportunity to work with the entire group.
Firefighters will climb the equivalent of 110 stories to symbolize the number of floors in the Twin Towers. 15 years after the September 11th attacks, we will honor the 343 firefighter from FDNY, the 37 Port Authority Police officers, and the 23 NYPD officers who died that day.
