2015 National Fire Service Research Agenda Released
There are many critical health and safety issues that need to be addressed in the fire service, but limited resources make this an ongoing challenge. To help prioritize the topics that deserve new and continued examination, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation hosted representatives of the fire service and research communities for the 2015 National Fire Service Research Symposium.
Ask a group of 100 firefighters, manufacturers, researchers and fire service supporters or partners to identify potential research projects that could produce significant results for reducing or eliminating firefighter line-of-duty deaths and injuries and the range of ideas could number near 100.
National Fallen Firefighters Foundation is a Proud Sponsor of the F.I.E.R.O PPE Symposium
The Symposium is a hard hitting, factual series of presentations about the PPE that most firefighters use on a regular basis. The topics covered at the PPE Symposium support Initiatives 7 and 16 of the Firefighter Life Safety Initiatives.
Resolve to reduce line of duty deaths for the New Year
The most important element in firefighter safety is you, the firefighter. Join the NFFF in reducing firefighter injuries and lowering the number of LODDs each year to below 50.
