Leadership, Accountability, Culture, and Knowledge Training Course Evaluated in Chicago

On Wednesday, May 12, 2010 regional and state advocates converged on the Robert J. Quinn Training Academy, in Chicago to begin the evaluation phase of the Leadership, Accountability, Culture, and Knowledge (LACK) training course. Chief Siarnicki presented the course to the class participants in an effort to begin receiving feedback on the course content. Initial comments were very positive and those who were able to attend will be delivering the course as a pilot. The full role out of LACK is scheduled to begin this fall.

The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation extends a heartfelt thanks to 1st Deputy Commissioner Hoff and the staff members of the Chicago Fire Department for allowing the Everyone Goes Home® group to use their Training Academy for the presentation of the LACK course. We also want to thank Eileen Coglianese (Pictured in the front row center) who serves on the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation’s Advisory Committee.
