North Dakota Fire Fighter’s Association Receives Everyone Goes Home® Seal of Excellence Award

Everyone Goes Home® Program News Release

Bismarck, ND – The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation’s Everyone Goes Home® program is proud to announce the selection of the North Dakota Fire Fighter’s Association (NDFA) as a recipient of the Firefighter Life Safety “Seal of Excellence” Award.

The prestigious “Seal of Excellence” is specifically designed to recognize the efforts of individuals, groups, departments and organizations who have demonstrated a commitment to making the American fire service safer. It has been presented to the NDFA for their efforts to promote firefighter life safety across the state of North Dakota.

The NDFA has taken the Everyone Goes Home® Program and aggressively marketed the program across the state. It is in its third year in partnership with the state workman’s comp organization in supporting the Courage to Be Safe® presentations across the state. Since the NFDA has been working with the Everyone Goes Home® Program, they have put over 2,000 firefighters through the Courage to Be Safe® class–that’s 27% of ND firefighters!

About the Everyone Goes Home® Firefighter Life Safety Initiatives Program

In March 2004, a Firefighter Life Safety Summit was held to address the need for change within the fire service.
